FOOL work with the librarians to make the library service accessible to all and help develop the library as a community information centre. We organise and run activities and events in the library to bring more people into the centre. We raise money by fundraising, sponsorship and donations to further the development of Ottery library and our information services. We also represent users in providing feedback to the library and to Devon Library Service on the Ottery St Mary library service.
