Ottery St Mary locals recently joined residents at McCarthy and Stone’s Tumbling Weir Court Retirement Living development on Tumbling Weir Court to get into the Christmas spirit at an exclusive free festive event.

Those who came along were treated to mouth-watering mince pies and a warming glass or two of mulled wine, while socialising with the friendly community at the development.

The event was part of McCarthy & Stone’s series of ‘At Home’ events, which were happening at selected developments across the UK throughout December, and had been inspired by the social tradition of days gone-by that sees friends and family gather at home to celebrate the festive season.
