This year Ottery's Christmas Lights switch on will tell a different tale!  Possibly even a Disney tale or two!!

With a Disney-themed night, the torchlight parade will start at 18:00 at the Church.  Anyone wishing to take part please meet at the church at 17:45 dressed in their favourite Disney character.  During the evening's events, the Christmas lights will be switched on by Royalty! Yes, our very own Carnival Queen will be there to do the honors of lighting up Ottery for the festive cheer.

Shops will also be open until 8pm so do pop in and get your batch of Christmas presents or stocking-fillers whichever takes your fancy, but do pop in.

There will also be plenty of fun and activities for the kids including the steam engine (from 4pm in the square), Face painting, The Balloon man and even a dalmatian puppy finding competition around the town.  Not to mention ...you know who will be there too??? Shhh....Father Christmas with his sleigh!  Great opportunity to tell Father Christmas what you'd like for Christmas!!!
