Just looking at the picture attached ...an amazing collage of beautiful green countryside. Things had gone quiet for about 18 months but guess what...they are back!!!
Aggregate Industries are having another go at destroying the countryside.
Reading the blogspot provided by the Straitgate Action Group brings to light quite a few issues which are of interest, such as the road traffic count figures, and how accurate these figures actually are.
They are intending to change the purpose of this 100 acre beautiful landscape to extract up to 1.5 million tonnes of raised sand and gravel!
